From the time I was a small child, I've always had a
fascination for turtles and frogs. Growing up in the mid-Atlantic region
of the United States provided many opportunities to meet some of these
amazing creatures face to face. I started to accumulate quite a few books on reptiles and amphibians
while doing research for some of my earlier art projects. (If you look at
my History Page, you will see several art projects in the listings that
include turtles and frogs.) While looking through one of those books, a
poison frog grabbed my attention. It was electric blue with black markings
on it's back. And it was sitting on the end of a pencil eraser! I was
hooked.
Prints of all frogs are only $12.95 and shipping is

In addition to the paper art variety, I've started to adopt some real
frogs of my own. My first addition, seen here on the right, is a red-eyed tree
frog we call Petunia. On the left is an Amazonian Milk Frog. Below
are a couple shots of my poison frogs. Just a note: I worked for a month on my terrarium to get it just
right before trying to acquire any live frogs. I would suggest doing some
research before making the decision to keep frogs. Paper sculpture frogs
are a great alternative: they never need cleaning and they don't eat much.
