The Mystic Tree
Concept:
These are the first pieces of finished artwork for a children's book proposal
titled "The Mystic Tree". I completed simple paper sculptures
for the entire forty-five page book. It was during this process that I
taught myself water coloring, ink dripping, and paper pulp. I think my
artwork is more lively and colorful from the experience.
There are three completed pages for the book. The first piece shown here has been digitally enhanced with my photography. It is available as a signed and numbered print. Visit the Print Shop for more information. The three original pieces of art for the book are pictured below.
